[ Premier League Season2 2013-14 ]
25′ [ Red Card ] Younes Kaboul
27′ 1 – 0 (o.g.) Harry Kane
44′ 2 – 0 Stewart Downing
Tim Sherwood won’t be happy with his teams performance against West Ham United on saturday early kickoff where they were rolled over by 2-0 after Younus Kaboul saw a red card.
Spurs of course failed to qualify for the top 4 and once can understand it was hard to motivate players for what was a dead rubber game. Spurs started out with a good football but a setback in 25th minute where Younus Kaboul was sent off opened the gate for home side West Ham United.
Harry Kane scored an own goal into his own net making it 1-0 for West Ham who doubled their lead just before the break to make it 2-0 through Steward Downing. Three points for Sam Allerdyce side means they are well clear of the relegation zone having secured their 40 league points in 37 games. While Spurs have 66 points of 37 matches and they can not finish above Everton in the league while United might overtake SPurs on 6th place.
