Hitzfeld has been coaching Swiss national side since 2008 and under him they have become a formidable unit with compact defence. Hitzfeld has the pedigree to manage some of the top clubs won two European cups. He likes Switzerland to play with a 4-2-3-1 formation where wingers has to duty to track back and help midfield and defence.

Likely Starting Lineup of Switzerland:

Switzerland has a solid defence with quality wingers who can run down the wings all day long, which makes swiss defence hard to score against. They are likely to start with lone striker upfront with three attacking players coming in for support.  While Behrami and Inler will be shielding the midfield.

Tall keeper Benaglio is a quality keeper who comes with sweeper attributes. He can orgnize the defence and is one of the best shot stoppers in world cup. His pretty massive and on set pieces he can be a force.

Young player to watch-out for: Granit Xhaka

Likely to start as the attacking midfielder or second striker he can also fit in the central midfield role and at the age of just 21 he will be looking to impress some of the big clubs.
