Manchester United are playing some good football towards the end of the season and they have a massive game coming up against Bayern Munich in the return leg where they just need to get a scoredraw or a 1-0 win which will put them into the semifinals of the UEFA CHampions League. Though on saturday afternoon they took on Newcastle United in order to keep their away league form in good shape as they are top of the table when it comes to away league table.
United were without the likes of Wayne Rooney, Van Persie and David Moyes gave a rare start to Javier Hernandez while Juan Mata was available as he missed the midweek CHampions League game. Mata scored his 2nd Manchester United goal in the 39th minute of the game while he made it 2-0 for his side just after the break. United could have scored couple in the first half when Hernandez shot deflected off the post.
He did made made up for that miss when he scored United’s 3rd and his first against a very shaky Newcastle team who are stuggling in the league since the turn of the year and it was their 5th consecutive defeat which leaves them fighting to be in the top half of the table.
