Man City had the superb chance of winning their 2nd premier league title in 3 years when took the field against West Ham United on super sunday, 11 May 2014. They went into the game leading two points of Liverpool and just needed to get a draw to get their hands on the english premier league title.
Manuel Pelligrini side had a superb season, although they did drift a bit at the start of 2014 but Liverpool gave them a chance to crawl their way back in the title race in the last month or so. Now they are on the verge of winning league title with last game to be played today.
It took man city 40 minutes to open the scoring through french international samir nasri who scored just before the break while captain Vincent Kompany made it 2-0 just after the break to put the game to bed and won premier league title for manchester city for the 2nd time in 3 years.
