Manchester United’s season got summed up by another embarrasing defeat in the hands of Liverpool at Old Trafford, on Super Sunday clash 16th March 2014. Liverpool of course now hunting for the title and motivated by the result at villa park on saturday, they came out all guns blazing. Unite playing at home had no answers and this United site looked far from what we have been wathing over the last 20 years. There was no fight in them as Steven Gerrard slotted home two penalties on either side of the half-time to finish the game off. Manchester United will have to settle out of the top 4 for this season, and even if they win all their remaining games they are still looking at other top teams to lose points and lose big. But in all fairness United dont look like a top 4 teams and they need to go into the summer and come up with a total shake up of the squad. Sell some dead legs and bring in creativity sepcialy in the middle of the park.
