Premier League title race is going absolutely to the wire with Liverpool, Manchester City and Chelsa are figthing it out for the championship come the last couple of weeks in the season. Manchester City beat Southampton at etihad stadium with what was a very easy win and they go just 1 point behind Liverpool with a game in hand while Liverpool will play their game on Sunday.
Manuel Pelligrini side had to win this game to keep in touch with Liverpool at the top of the table, while a win for Chelsea later in the evening will put them top of the table atleast for a day. So This is going to be a roller coaster last few weeks in the league and any of the three teams can go on and win the championship. City kept the pressure with a 3-1 win as Yaya Toure scored from penalty while Lamberts goal kind of put some confusion for City but goals from Samir Nasri and Dzeko put the game to bed jsut before the break and got all three points for Man City.
Now they move to 70 points and next week is the biggest game in the season as Liverpool take on Manchester City at anfield and that will be a game which wont win the team championship but kill one’s chances of winning it.
