A. Weimann gave Aston Villa the lead in the first half before Agbonlahor missed an easy chance in the first miunte of the kickoff, Benteke made it 2-0 in 37th minute and it was a surprise at anfield. Liverpool though are one of the highest scoring team in premier league this season and they wont go down wondering a goal from danial sturridge at the stroke of half time changed the mood and setup a great finish in the 2nd half.
Liverpool won a penalty in the 2nd half which was a converted with confidence by steven gerrard, anfield arupt in delight.
