In the UEFA Champions League round of 16 match where Chelsea visited Turkey to face Roberto Mancini Galatasaray for the first leg of the tie, Chelsea took an early lead through Fernando Torres with just 10 minutes of the kickoff, that goal gave Chelsea much needed confidence and they build on that against a very spirited Gala side who refused to give up, Match was at 1-0 in Chelsea favour at the break but home side did creat enough chance to get back on level terms and their quality upfront was good to test Chelsea in the remainder of the match.
After the break it was home side which started brightly and they took the game to english side, and eventualy goal came from Chedjou in 64th minute and stadium erupt in delight. Though CHelsea were resiliant enough to keep gala from scoring again, and they had already grabbed that all important away goal.
