Manuel Palligrini side Manchester City took on Everton and got all three points which put them top of the table with just two more games to play for. Title race is going down to the last minute again.
Everton whos some of the fans wanted them to lose against manchester city so that they can contribute in liveprool not winnign the title, but Everton kept their integrity and scored the first goal against a very solid and determind looking manchester city side it was Ross Barkley, probably everton’s best player this season, opened the scoring in 11th minute to the delight of Liverpool fans around the world.
The lead was short lived though, Argentina forward and 2011-12 season hero Sergio Aguero scored in 22 minute to make it 1-1 while another goal just before the break for the away side made it 2-1 and put city firmly in control of the title race. Bosnian forward Edin Dzeko scored to put city ahead before the break.
Dzeko was at it again just after the break to make it 3-1 and put game to bed and with that comes huge pressure on Liverpool who are playing against Crystal Palace on monday night football. Everton howerver kept going and their pressing game paid off when Bainz put in a beautiful cross for Lakuku who made to 2-3 for the home side.
