Roy Hodgson side England fell to a lackluster 0-0 draw against Honduras in the warmup friendly game ahead of the Italy world cup match. Game was halted for a while due to thunder storm. Match review and ratings are below.

England were absolutely poor in the honduras game, game was halted for around 45 minute but we can safely say that that was the most notable thing in this game as both side canced each other out. England started the game brightly and created a few chances but failed to convert any of those. But this was just warmup game and result should not reflect the preparation of England camp.

Roy Hodgson started with Adam Lallana, Daniel Sturrdige, Danny Welbeck and Wayne Rooney in the attack while Gerrard and Jordan Henderson started in the central midfield.

England Players Ratings:

Liverpool trio of Gerrard, Sturridge and Henderson started the game and they looked like playing better together, Sturridge was guilty of missing two good chances while Lallana and Welbeck looked fresh and fast on the counter attacks. England will be happy with the how the world cup preparations has gone but it will be interesting to see with what team Roy Hodgson started against Italy in the first group game of 2014 world cup.

Honduras on the other hand proved to be a tough nut to crack, even when they were down to 10 men, they defended well and looking like a solid compact unit at the back.
