Jose Mourinho side Chelsea took on Stoke City in what was a great game at Stamford Bridge on 26 January 2014. Mourinho went with a strong squad considering they are playing Premier League in the midweek. The first goal arrive just before the half hour mark when Chelsea’s player of the season Oscar scored in 27th minute of the match to make it 1-0 and give Chelsea a much needed lead.
Stoke City though put on quite a resiliant performance at the bridge, as they refused to go down without a fight, game was 1-0 in Chelsea favour at half time. Stoke City created a few openings in the 2nd half but a typical mourinho team performance from Chelsea made sure they are compact at the back and won leak any stupid goal.
Match Finished 1-0 in chelsea favour, Stoke City had their fair of chances which they could have taken scored atleast a goal but credit to mourinho and his team who stuck in there and proved to be a difficult team to beat.
