Chelsea went in to the last day of the season knowing if they win all three points and Liverpool lose their game, Chelsea would finish 2nd. But thing did not go as planned for jose mourinho side who suffered an early set back as season vatern Craig Bellamy scored his and Cardiff’s first goal of the game. Mourinho did not look too impressed with the defending.
Game was 0-0 at the break and Chelsea came out strong in the 2nd period. They created more chances and Mourinho made a couple of changes as he brought in Schurrle and Nathan Ake. The changes combined well and it took Chelsea 73rd minute to draw back on level terms when Schurrle scored to make it 1-1, couple of minutes later Fernando Torres scored the winning goal for Chelsea and it might very well be his last goal and game in Chelsea shirt.
