Arsenal moved back into the 4th position leap frogging Everton after beating West Ham at emirates this tuesday night, and now the next game against Everton will be a kind of playoff for the champions league last spot. Arsenal started slowly in this game and that was more down to their weekend FA Cup semifinal marathone of a match which got them all the way to the penalties, West ham took advantage of that and scored the opening goal from Matthew Jarvis who poked hom 5 minutes before the halftime. Things were not looking so great for the home side at the points.
Just when wenger was preparing his halftime speech, Podolski scored just before the break and things changed dramaticly after that goal. Olivier Giroud scored in 55th minute of the game to put Arsenal 2-1 up and another goal by in 78th minute sealed the match and with that very important 3 points which now put Arsenal on 4th place with 67 points from 34 games, while Everton have 65 points of 33 games. Their next few games are pretty tough to say the least, so It will be mega task for Roberto Martinez side to keep themselves in the top 4.
