Fit again Mesut Ozil was the difference between the two sides as the german internationa created one and scored one helping his side to easy three points. First goal came through defender Koscielny who tapped in from Cazorla freekick. Mesut Ozil scored from a rebound effort after Krul saved Olivier Giroud shot, Ozil looked a bit offside in the replays.
It was 2-0 at halftime and Pardew was under massive pressure to lift his side, but Arsenal rapped up three points in 66th minute of the game when Giroud having missed a couple of easy chances before scored to make it 3-0 and with that put Arsenal in cruising position not only in the game but in top 4 race. One must wonder if Arsenal did not had to suffer so many injuries this title race might be a 4 way battle.
