Manchester United came to stamford bridge knowing that they always struggle against the blues, and if we look at the past few games between the two sides, Chelsea have had upper hand. United had to cope without the likes of Rooney, Van Persie etc who are sidelined because of injuries and they went with relatively inexperience side. Chelsea on the other hand have some of the best midfield players, who were happy to sit back and hit United on counter attacks.
United’s first half ended in misery when Samuel Eto’o scored his 2nd of the night and put Chelsea in driving seat going into the 2nd half. expert believed CHelsea has done enough to go on and win the game from there on and United’s chances of title are long gone now they might even struggle to make it to the top 4 which will be a disaster for a club like United.
