Manchester City took on Blackburn Rovers in the 2nd leg of their 2014 FA Cup 3rd round tie and they continued their persuit of 4 trophies this season. City are currently on top of the league, they also made it to the final of the Carling Cup while Champions League game against Barcelona is fast approaching. This season is turning out to be quite a good one for blue half of Manchester.
Blackburn Rovers got a well deserved draw in the game at ewood park to take the game to replay couple of weeks ago, but City were too good at home against a blackburn rover side who did put up some fight but could not keep city away from goal for long. City’s leading goal scorer Negredo scored his 20th goal of the season while Sergio Ageuro made a welcome return to the team. Negredo scored again to make it 2-0 on the night and game set and match for Manchester City who are now in the 4th round, and the matches will be played on 26 January 2014.
Returning hero Sergio Aguero added the 4th before that Edin Dzeko continued his super run as cup goal scorer. This manchester city side look invincible in the english football at the moment, Barcelona has a real team at their hands come february.
