Spurs took on Sunderland in the premier league game on monday night football and it was important game for both sides, specialy Sunderland who are fighting relegations at the bottom of the league table. Game started with a bang for away side when Lee Cattermole scored in just 17th minute of the game but Emmanuel Adebayor scored in 30th minute with the help of his right hand to poke ball in the back of the net. Controversty !

Sunderland gave it a good show after the break but a break away goal from Harry Kane made it 2-1 and Sunderland stretched alot in the game, Eriksen and Adebayor scored a couple more before the end of the game to seal a comfortable 4-1 win and put Spurs back in the 6th place 4 points behind Everton.

Sunderland now are staring at relegation with 6 league games to go and they are bottom of the pile, the hopes are fading fast and they need a miracle at stadium of light to turn things around.
