SHORT MATCH HIGHLIGHTS
Manchester United went top of the league, well atleast if we only look at the away matches table. THey have played 16 won 9, draw 3 and lost 4 with 30 points on the table. While their poor position in the league is because of their home results where they only managed to get 21 points in 14 matches they have played so far. West Ham struggled to get grip of united’s attack as Wayne Rooney scored within 9 minutes of the kickoff, his first goal was a amazing strike from almost halfway line with Beckham looking for the stands.
United kept the pressure at the hammers and scored again before the break, this time it was rooney again but the goal was more of a low key with a simple tap in and united were cruising at the break with 2-0. West ham did offer some resistance in the after the break but failed to create chances consistantly.
